Quota Management
Many private and charter schools set hours quotas for their parents. This could be as simple as a set number of hours per volunteer for each school year. However, it can quickly become more complicated by setting quotas by family unit where hours by Mom, Dad, Grandma, etc. all count toward a common family goal. Additionally, many schools will set the quota according to the number of students a family has in the school.
All these variables can quickly make quota management a time consuming and cumbersome chore for volunteer coordinators. HelpCounter's quota management feature can completely automate this tedious chore. It can even email your volunteers a monthly statement so they can see how they are doing throughout the school year and avoid the end of year frenzy to make up missing hours.
Of course, quota management is completely optional within HelpCounter as quotas are very rare in public schools.
All you'll need to do is to tell HelpCounter to track quotas and then set a default quota. You'll do this in the Setup & Preferences area.
You can track quotas
by simply checking a box in the Main Setup
This is where you'll also set the default quota and select between individual
and family group quotas.

You can then monitor volunteers individually in their profile page..
In the volunteer's profile, you can over-ride the default quota if the quota is assigned per student.
If you use family groups, you can also easily add other volunteers to this family group. HelpCounter will report the group's total when viewing any individual member's profile.

There's even a report that will show you all volunteer's status on a single page..
If you opt to have HelpCounter email monthly statements to your volunteers, they will each receive a custome email similar to the one below.
